Yemi Sekoni, MBA

 

Yemi is the founder of Rhode Island Fashion Week, and executive director of Fashion Fete - a Designer Consortium that provides consulting, educational and business support services to local fashion designers.  

 

A graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, Yemi also has a bachelor’s degree in Education, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing, and an MBA, and has worked in banking, relationship management, event planning & management.  She has over 40 years’ experience in various areas of the fashion and entertainment industry, including theater, TV, film, print and runway.

In addition to producing RI Fashion Week, Yemi is also president of Donahue Models & Talent, LLC - Rhode Island’s oldest modeling agency. Her company books some of New England’s top professional models and talent and works with many corporate giants across the region, helping these companies to launch successful advertising campaigns and convey critical marketing messages.
